SEA GARDEN NECKLACE

For several years I wore the two smaller Sea Garden beads in a necklace (no photo available. I was never happy with it) made with the shell filled blue bead now incorporated into the Beach necklace. Then I bought the large matching bead that is now the focal and finally had the courage to cut apart my old necklace and make a new one, with new supporting strands but using the same tassle as on the former version. I used 3 focal lampwork beads by Andrea Guarino Slemmons (who has lived, worked and taught in Port Townsend for many years now) and added some of her smaller beads (the ones with the inner glow I think she calls Kryptonite beads), some keishe pearls, Hill Tribes Silver, glass shells and other beads, sterling silver charms, and some little pressed glass fishie beads with silver on the back and irridescent blues on the front. I made the tassle from an article in Bead and Button Magazine.
