GALLERY 5 GREEN OCTOPUS NECKLACE
Jason Solomon of Earthworks Studios says he likes to do his research at the beach. I don't know if he finds a lot of octopi as cute as this guy or not, but his eBay store has lots of colorful octopi and starfish beads and usually some jellyfish and turtles as well. Additionally, he does wonderful swirly cosmic cabs that attracted me because they matched images in my head while I was working on the Petaybee Twins books, especially Maelstrom. No seals yet though. I matched the little octopus with some center-drilled stick pearls , some awfully cool turquoise colored beads that look like pieces of shell, and some real turquoise beads at the end (because I like my necklaces at least 24" long). A green octopus is a very comfy fellow to wear.
