GALLERY 5 PURPLE MERMAID
I couldn't resist this purple mermaid by Mavis Smith and when I found these blister pearls, they were the perfect thing to use along with glass clamshell beads in pink and lavender and plain lavender, Hill Tribes silver crafs, sanddollars, and clamshells, and a totally glam Swarovski starfish to give the mermaid a little extra bling to attract sailors on days when her voice is a bit hoarse. The two orangish beads about five up from the mermaid's hair are little crabs (my friend Lea's sun sign symbol--say that real fast) done in polymer clay. They picked up the orange tones in her hair really well.
