Swarovski Crystal Teardrop Pendant

Last year I devoted a lot of time and money learning how to bezel and design with rivoli and pointed back crystals. My education included classes with Daeng Weaver and Melanie Potter and studying books on working with Swarovskis, my favorite of which is Laura McCabe's. Peyote is the main stitch used in bezeling and baling and attaching these crystals to each other. The earrings pair the design I learned from Daeng with my own preference for longer earrings. I liked the star effect I got from spacing smaller crystals less densely on the top stone. The pendant is similar to the starburst ones found in Laura's book except I like the little rivoli on top and the larger one on the bottom.
