Lea's Mavis Smith Witch Necklace
This beautiful Mavis Smith witch bead doesn't show up very well in this scan--actually, neither does the necklace, but it turned out really well. The witch has a blue violet gown with a black coat trimmed in green to match her hat. The skirt of her gown is sprinkled with candy corns in traditional colors and match the pumpkin she carries and the flower in her hair. Lea is a nut for purple so I knew this bead should be her special Halloween gift. I made the spiral strap using helitrope Swarovski crystals as well as that peculiar opaque green that makes a great Halloween color. The orange bead at the bottom has yellow moons in it that compliment the witchy accents of the bead. It's left from Halloween purchases last year.
