WALKING LIBERTY FIVE DOLLAR GOLD PIECE EARRINGS
After 9/11 when I made my coin centered red white and blue necklace, my jeweler friend Rick liked the idea and asked me to bead around some of the coins in his collection, including these five dollar gold pieces which are actually worth about $100. He's priced them at $120 if anyone is interested. I made them kind of dainty because more women are into dainty than dangly--or were at the time I made the earrings. The coins are glued to a backing.
