WHITE SCARAB NECKLACE

My friend Lea owns about half of this collection of cab necklaces. She is a nut for anything Egyptian. While we were attending Dragoncon in Atlanta, she found this wound white scrimshawed flying scarab cabochon in the art show and bought it. She paid a lot for it and if I knew the name of the artist I would give her credit here. Anyway, I designed this pendant around it using some traditional Egyptian materials including coral flowers and gold tone metal charms in the fringe as well as shell in the strap to echo the white of the scarab. The green scarabs on either side of the outer wings are glass Japanese occupation era cabs I purchased from eBay.
