Beaded Replica of King Tut's Winged Scarab Necklace
More adventures in cabochons. I wanted to make as close a replica as I could with the cabs and beads I had of King Tut's Winged scarab necklace. In the original, the scarab supports the Ra sign, or a red sun disk. It has a lot of space between its bug feets and rests on a platform. Instead of space, I used a pair of chrysocollaish gem silica cabs. I have never used a lot of bugles in my applique work so this was a first for me.
