RAINFOREST OWL
As in Owl Set 1, I combined a beautiful Laura Mears ceramic owl bead with one of the Earthworks Studios lampwork cabochons , and used abalone as accent cabs and in the strap. I also used some ocean jasper, Swarovski "coral" branches for the owl's perch, and gray keishi pearls to border the lower half of the pendant. The dangle is a medium vitrail bead I bought from Beading in the Rain.com. Solmewhere I had purchased another set of lampwork beads in the same colors and pattern as the lampwork cabochon. I had also purchased some "designer" cabs in strange curvy shapes and found the big green one fit the owl very well. A small carnelian cab punctuates the owl.
