Gallery 3 Cabochon Work, PURPLE HEART SET designed and created by Elizabeth Ann Scarborough
I bought this beautiful heart shaped cab from Steve Kaczmarek (the Indiana Glassman) online and decided to make a purple heart for Valentine's Day. For those of us who never quite made it to happily ever after romantically it does seem a fitting color scheme. The necklace has lavender AB hearts and teardrops on the ends and lots and lots of Swarovskis for glitter. The strap is long brick stitched beads with varying shapes and sizes of beads used for accent and strung with clear crystal beads and cobalt disks. I made this originally with a simple strung strap but when it broke, decided to do this sturdier strap istead. The clasp is a beaded loop with a Czech glass button.
