Patti chose a toggle closure for this bracelet, which she weaves in brick stitch, although I usually design in Peyote. Brick stitch is easier than doing the long row of beginning peyote stitches for a narrow piece like this. This set was what I ended up creating from an idea I had for a hatband. It could still be expanded to be a hat band. The colors, black, white, red, gray or silver, are frequently used in Pacific NW Indian carvings and other artwork. They are also my favorite Navajo rug color combination as seen in the Ganado Red style of rugs.
