LA CATRINA NECKLACE AND EARRINGS

Note the tasteful addition of skulls in the strap. These images are based on figures from the Days of the Dead in Mexico. The artist Posada is credited with inventing the figure of La Catrina--the wealthy lady who had it all and died anyway, proving that you certainly can be too rich and too thin, The earrings represent her with an abbreviated chapeau. There are three more earring patterns (all dead) in the same collection with these.
