THE STORYTELLER WRITER
This is my own personal necklace. I put my name on the back of it so nobody could talk me out of it. The image is similar to the other Southwestern storytellers except if you'll notice, this ttaditional looking Pueblo lady is typing on her authentic sacred traditional Native American laptop computer, which has special pictograph fonts especially for storytellers. As she types, she tries her story out by telling it aloud to her faithful cats. In case you can't read pictographs, the image of the stormcloud with the rain coming down and the lightning flashing under a sliver moon in a black background is translated on the woven part of the strap "It was a dark and stormy night" of course! I used coral, both angel skin and orange, turquoise, lapis, goldstone and silver bugles in the fringe and the strung part of the strap. The Dark and Stormy Earrings also pictured in Gallery 1 go with it.
This pattern is available with earrings and instructions as a pdf from Bead-Patterns.com (pattern #270) and in printed form from both Copper Coyote Beads (PAT EAS 005) and Cindy's Crafts.
